The Urgent Access Hub (UAH) will reopen from 1st December 2022 and provide support until 31st March 2022 to provide support for winter pressure to all GP practices by offering 42 face-to-face appointments per day. Opening time Monday- Friday 14:00- 20:00.
These bookings are to be made by a named GP/Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) working in general practice. Bookings must be made in line with the eligibility criteria below:
- Clinical criteria: Any patient that requires a same day face to face appointment (suitable for those patients that you expect to only need a one-off appointment, not those who will require any follow-up or further investigating)
- This could include suspected/confirmed coronavirus patients
- On the day bookings only
- GP or ANP at the patient’s own practice to clinically triage first and clearly document rationale for face-to-face appointment post triage
- Include PCR and/or LFT test status in documentation
